The art of Linda Calvert Jacobson~

Springtime is approaching , the wildflower seeds have germinated, and the spectacular Texas bloom period is upon us. If you are not familiar with Linda's art, we are now introducing you to one of the most popular Texas wildflower artists we have! Linda grabs the excitement of our annual wildflowers and has created a uniquely contemporary method to showcase them. There is no mistaking her art, it is colorful, skillfully created, and full of details. Her originals have been collected by art lovers stretching out to both coasts and even to Europe and the middle east.

We recommend seeing her paintings in person. She has her own public gallery that she and her husband, David own called The Wildflower Art Gallery in Wimberley, Texas. You can also find her art in the Texas Highways gift shop and Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center's gift shop. She teaches classes through the New Braunfels Art League and is a displaying member there too. To experience a field of Texas wildflowers in bloom will take your breath away for a couple weeks a year, but having one of Linda's paintings on your wall can breathe life into a room all year long!
